Our Session
Ruling elders are chosen by the congregation to discern and measure its fidelity to the Word of God, and to strengthen and nurture its faith and life. Ruling elders, together with pastors, exercise leadership, government, spiritual discernment, and discipline, and have responsibilities for the life of a congregation as well as the whole church, including ecumenical relationships.
At FHPC, ruling elders serve three-year terms to make up our session, the governing body of the church. Our current ruling elders are:
- Class of 2023: Phylliss Moret and Irene Roberts
- Class of 2024: Earl Jones
- Class of 2024: Amanda Gordon and Anna-Margaret Price
Our Trustees
Trustees are chosen by the congregation to act upon all titles and deeds of all real and personal property held by the church after approval by the congregation, and to administer the Second Mile Endowment Fund for the purposes of the furtherance of the congregation, all subject to the authority of the session and under the provisions of the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
At FHPC, trustees serve three-year terms. Our current trustees are:

- Class of 2024: Carol Stephens
- Class of 2025: Ed Spyhalski
