On this longest night of the year, we look for light together – in quiet and sound, stillness and movement, solitude and community.
Bring blankets and chairs to set up your own spot on the lawn. Recording his own piano pieces for us, local artist Joshua Wortham will curate the evening with sound – both his own and select string pieces from his congregation and harp peices from friend, Ashely Huffman. Do wear your mask. Carry along your own lantern or pick up one we’ve made just for you, and we’ll gaze at the stars while allowing each household/grouping time to walk the labyrinth alone. Then warm yourself around the fire before making your journey home.
Masked and abstaining from food or drink, we will exercise caution and physical distancing through-out.
