Mission & Outreach Committee: Involves the congregation in mission beyond
itself – community, national, and international — and for all PCUSA missions, and
seeks others to join us in our worship, fellowship, and service. Makes
recommendations for the distribution of grants from the West Second Mile
Endowment Fund (SMEF) earnings to support various missions and ministries, and
oversees the Good Samaritan Fund. Conducts collections of items for special
purposes, e.g., food drives, and community outreach events to attract others to
the church. Oversees the dog park and labyrinth butterfly garden. Keeps the
church’s website current.
