With the commitment of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church (FHPC) to renewal and revitalization, our mission and outreach endeavors are also renewed and revitalized to serve two of the Great Ends of the Church:
a) To be a servant to the local and world community – mission; and
b) To actively seek others to join us in our Christian walk of faith – outreach.
As reminded by 1 John 4:29, “We love because He first loved us.” Therefore, all we do as believers flows from gratitude to God. FHPC strives to be a welcoming and inclusive community, as we grow in ministry and mission for Jesus Christ. We promote the involvement of the congregation in missions beyond itself at all levels — community, metropolitan, state, national, and global; and in missions conducted through the programs of the Presbyterian Church (USA). As God’s disciples – Christians known by our love — each of us is meant to be a local missionary, right here, right now.
