Welcome to Forest Hill Presbyterian Church Child Care Center! We are a small Child Care Center with a huge love for educating children. The Child Care Center has been a part of the community since 1961. We provide a loving, nurturing, safe and fun environment for children all year long.
I was hired in March of 2018 as Director of the Child Care Center, but that is not where my story begins with the Child Care Center. I was enrolled as a student here many years ago. I spent many hours volunteering for community service in the Child Care Center and worked in high school and college as an office assistant and teacher. I hold a BA in English from Randolph-Macon College and an MA in Curriculum & Instruction. The Child Care Center holds a very special place in my heart. I have come full circle and am so glad to call this place home.
The Child Care Center is an integral part of the Forest Hill neighborhood. We have provided a place of faith and care for children for many years. Many families have come through this building, returning with siblings and even their own children one day.
Our program gives children multiple opportunities each day to participate in learning experiences, creative arts and crafts, music, outdoor play and exploration as will as structured and unstructured play. We are able to walk to Forest Hill Park, the library, the fire station and even Crossroads for other learning and exploring opportunities.
We welcome all to be a part of our family. Come visit us to see what a wonderful, nurturing and loving environment we provide!
